Lactic Acid Peel
Lactic acid, derived from fermented milk, is generally regarded as a gentler exfoliant compared to glycolic acid.
When lactic acid peel is applied to the skin, it penetrates the skin to eliminate germs and bacteria. Additionally, lactic acid breaks down the bonds holding dead skin cells, reducing age spots. Similarly, glycolic acid also releases dead skin cells but has a smaller molecule size, allowing it to penetrate deeper into the skin. This enables glycolic acid to reach the dermis, stimulating collagen production for tighter-looking skin.
